Ever get tired of the long process involved in (re)installing windows? Then this tool is definitely for you.

Have you ever wanted to remove Windows components like Media Player, Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, MSN Explorer, Messenger...

How about not even to install them with Windows ?

nLite is a tool for permanent Windows components removal and pre-installation Windows setup. After removal there is an option to make bootable image ready for burning on cd or testing in virtual machines. With nLite you will be able to have Windows installation which on install doesn't include, or even contain on cd, unwanted components.

So far it supports Windows 2000, XP x86/x64 and 2003 x86/x64 all languages.

It needs .NET Framework 2.0 in order to run it... Check if you have it already, maybe on some of your CDs before downloading if your connection is slow.

This tool is awsome. I custom made my own OS disk and integrated all the updates. Saves a world of time. It even inputs the cd-key automatically if you wish and you can preconfigure all your setup info beforehand. You can also integrate newer drivers.

I am going to be re-installing a machine in a couple of days. I will give this a go, but it looks very useful.

This utility seems very useful. Yes, you can already slipstream the hotfixes and service packs into an Installation, and make it unattended through an answer file. But a program that does that all for you is very useful. Good find. Ill try it out.
