Hi, I have recently bought a new Creative Zen VISION:M player (yay ) and my computer wont recognize it. When I plug it in it does prompt me with the standard "New hardware" Balloon but it wont get it to sync, Now on my dad and friends comp it doesn't even prompt it just works (you open the Creative media explorer and it says "Creative Zen VISION:M Connected"). Same thing happened a while back with my Rio Carbon but that was right after it stoped working for a while so i assumed the problem is with the player, although since the creative prob i checked the rio on my dads comp and it works fine. I've tried reinstalling USB 2.0 drivers for my mobo, didn't work. help?

Maybe you should also update the chipset driver for your motherboard?
If you dont know wich northbridge chipset your mobo got?
Download this software.

Look under motherboard + chipset + northbridge chipset.
Then head over to the chipset manufacturers home.
Have you installed the Zen driver?

One more question.
You are'nt trying to connect the Zen via an USB hub are you?

Its because its just different from a normal flash drive. When it pops up the add new hardware wizard, pop in the CD it came with and select search for drivers and check include CD drive in the search, then click search. It will install the drivers and it will show up as a portable media device.
