I got a new MOBO its a socket 487 w/ Celeron 2.+ Ghz on it...
Question: Is it possible for my old AGP Vid Card Nvidia TNT2 M64 to be on that MOBO?
Thanks...

It depends on what computer the old card came from. If it's from a Pentium 2 then the answer is "no." The connectors changed after that PC and the breaks between the fingers are different so the card won't even physically go into place.

Thats pretty much it. Its socket 478 which isn't that old (I remember seeing a 3 GHz 800 MHz FSB P4 out there in socket 478), about as old as socket 754 (which still works fine for me BTW) which means it is probably an AGP 8x board but a 4x card should work fine, it will just run at 4x speeds.

Thanks guys, The TNT 2 old vid card came from a p4 1.7ghz. Though I haven't tried putting that on my socket 478, I would like to consider your opinion before doing such thing.

Just remember, that TNT Riva 2, does'nt have any support for direct X 9.0.
And you may experience some minor lag.
Besides, you can get a Geforce 6200 like this for 38 bucks. If you dont care for gaming abilitys. But wanna have a card that supports DX 9.0, and is pretty new model vice.
