Posted by: shadysoldier

"The bulb here can be used as a secondary attachment to the cathode that you have now. This cathode comes with no inverter, just a bulb."That link is just the bulb also y ai was thinking blue and another cooler red and blue or blue and green.

Posted by: shadysoldier

I bought 2x blue cathrodes today and was planning on buy this.

Also, Are these fan any good?

and
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...N82E16811999121

Also, is their a way i can decrease the sound?

Posted by: goranpaa

The Aspire fan is pretty loud for blowing such a moderate amount of air.
The Thermaltake is powerful but will sound like a hairdrier.

This is a good blue LED 80mm fan, that have a good balance between noise and CFM.

Green dito:

Posted by: shadysoldier

the blue one is the wrong size and the green one kinds looks teal.

hmmmm do sound reactors help on noise?
http://www.xoxide.com/cocasoackit.html

Posted by: goranpaa

#hmmmm do sound reactors help on noise?#

Not much no. That thing, will turn your case into a blinking disco lol.

Posted by: goranpaa

The only way to reduce fan noise. Is to get a fan speed controller, hardware or a software dito like "Speedfan".

But lowering the speed will reduce the CFM on the fan.

And you can also sound isolate the case. But such sound dampening mats for PC's are pretty expensive.

hmm the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...N82E16811999121 come with a controller and i also have a temp moniter/controller in my case.

Posted by: goranpaa

Good. But there is'nt nothing in the text from newegg, telling how much the noise will be reduced?

And as it is a temperature control sensor. You wont be able to fine tune the fan.

Also connecting such a temp regulated fan to a motherboard fan header is'nt a good move as the regulator can actually kill the mobo fan header and temp probe. You will have to connect it to a 4 pin Molex from the psu.

Also be aware, that if you connect a LED fan to your case fan controller and turn it down. You may not get the amount of light you want.

"Also connecting such a temp regulated fan to a motherboard fan header isn't a good move as the regulator can actually kill the mobo fan header and temp probe."

i got lost thier.

Also, when i hook my fans up i connect it to this cable that leads to the controller not the mobo it self and i read in someones comment they said that they use a fan controller and it reduced a lot of sound. Also, that is the only 90x90x25 led fan i could find. Also, what about my other post about the green fans.

Posted by: shadysoldier

nvm i just found another blue fan http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...N82E16835119069
but it is kinda slow.

Posted by: goranpaa

I meant, that you shouldt connect a temperature regulated fan to any of the 3 pin fan connectors on the mobo. Use the 4 pin molex connectors from the psu instead.

If you are referring to the green fan from newegg? Then dont try to speed regulate it. It's pretty weak cfm vice as it is. But if you dont think 30 Db is much noise? Then it should'nt be any problem.

It's very hard to find a powerful 80mm fan that is silent also.

Posted by: shadysoldier

but which of those 3 fans are better , i think i might go with the coil one.

Posted by: goranpaa

The green ones at Xoxide is better. The figures may not seem much of a difference at a first glance. But it is a noticable difference between 28Db an 31 cfm, compaired to 30Db and 27 cfm.

Posted by: shadysoldier

I think imma get this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...N82E16811999463

Posted by: shadysoldier

hmm I need to find a 90x90x25 fan that has over 32cfm and is not so loud and is blue led.

how bout this one http://thermaltake.com/product/DCfa...nderblade90.asp

Posted by: goranpaa

Yeah, both the Logisys and the Thunderblade are good fans.

Posted by: shadysoldier

now i got to find a store that has the thunderblade. Also, can the thunderblade take out more hot air then the logisys takes in.

Posted by: goranpaa

Yepp the Thunderblade is stronger than 1 Logisys fan. So if you have a 90mm Thunderblade in the rear of the case it will be o.k. But having 2 Logisy 80mm as intake, and 1 Thunderblade 90mm as exhaust is'nt very good airflow balance.

Posted by: shadysoldier

K , nut i searched for the thunderblade and couldn't find one all i found was the powerful smart fan.

Posted by: goranpaa

HI could'nt find it either....no where! But this AC Ryan Blackfire is a very good fan.

At least they sell good stuff as far as I can see.

Posted by: goranpaa

That's a risk you pretty much take buying on line everywhere. Except from the big, reknown companys.

Posted by: shadysoldier

Posted by: goranpaa

Just out of interest, How are you going to do that?

Are you going to ask them: - Excuse me but are you notorious conmen?

-.........No!

- Good! Then I would like to order.....

Posted by: shadysoldier

Yeah, I dont think you will have to worry too much about those guys.
Or maybe you should ask them if you can pay them in some other way? Via check perhaps?
Or if you have the same system as we have here, when ordering stuff? Most webshops and firms have this freight service in Sweden. They send it to the post office and you pay there when picking up the stuff?
