Finding CD-Keys

Is there anyway to find my cd-key through the software that I have installed on my computer? My RoC and TFT CD-keys are both legit but with the diamond cases gone and lack of use they have faded from memory

At one point in the history of the world there was a way to retrieve them from the registry, but who knows if that works anymore.

I could try? Could you give me instructions?

If you dont have the game already installed then you probably cant get them back but if they are then you can just download the cd key grabber from www.zerogamers.com

I too am having this problem. I have the game installed, but don't have my Frozen Throne CD. The problem with zerogamers.com is that you need to be a paid member in or to get that cd-key grabber.
Also, I searched the registry many times without success. If it's in there, it must be encoded in a special way.

That program has been removed from many websites because of copyright issues. Even though it can be used for legal reasons, it can also be used for illegal ones. The original writers of it have probably been keeping an eye out to see if anyone else with similar software has been sued for megabuck$ for copyright violations.

sure normal websites wouldnt host it then, but i thought for sure it could be found on a torrent site somewhere

copyright issues again... could anyone here explain why would someone be sued doing
some cd key retriever software... its like saying that it is illegal to learn other country's
language... did the author's of the bible filed any cases regarding copyrights for translating their scripture into different languages

Copyright laws didn't come about until the 18th century

I used to have a key-grabber, but it's long since gone. Besides, I think you have to have the one for the current version (currently 1.21) of WC...

Yeah, hi it's me again and I'm having the same problem again. I do still want to play on battle.net so I want don't want to use a cd-key generator.
Also I think I remember most of my cd-key, just my memory seems to be corrupted just like a computer's. Is there some sort of algorithm like for the cd-key generators that I could use to find my whole cd-key from the bits I correctly remember?

lol, no.... THat doesn't exsist

I also used to have a cd-key grabber for some cd burning software. The best advice i can give is to write down the cd kay for each software title yiu buy and store it somewhere where you won't lose it. Someone i know got their jewel case of diablo 2 wet and the cd key ink faded away.
