Halo freezes on my laptop.please help!!

hi when ever i play on my laptop halo keeps freezing especially when it loading something. Like switching maps. I have my settings low and I have all my drivers updated.

intel centrino core dou
1 gb ram
1.6ghz
120gb sata harddrvie
intel 945gm express chip set
xp media center 2005
There also a no cd patch

If anything else is needed please ask.

What kind of vid card do you have? Often the video on laptops is on the weak side. Some games will freeze because the video card decides it's time to "crash" the party!

The video card i have is a mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family
(that what it says under device manger and display adapter)

If it's Halo Combat Evolved? Then I'm surpriced you can run the game at all, with that Intel videochip.

You need a lappy with a s.c. " dedicated" video chip. Like Geforce Go 6600, 6800, 7600GT or better.
Or Radeon Mobile X700, X800 or X1600 or better for games.

The Intel or SIS graphic chips is'nt intended for gaming.
And you can't replace the Intel chip unfortunatly.
