how to install wireless card on linux

I am a newbie to linux and was wondering how to install the wireless card that came with my hp pavilion zv5000z in Ubuntu.

I've had lots of problems with wireless cards on Ubuntu (and other linux distros). My guess is your just isn't working? if not...

Check to make sure there isn't a Linux driver for your card you can download.

If there isn't, use NDISWrapper. NDISWrapper allows you to use a Windows driver for your card, on Ubuntu.

Google ndiswrapper and try to find a tutorial/guide.

Your laptop has a broadcom chip in it I think. Somewhat of a headache in linux. This thread has some good help in it.
