Anyone know how to do this? I have a home network setup done but when i go to my second computer and try to map a network drive to the shared folder i made, it freezes or says i dont have access. Both computers are logged in as admin.

try disabling the firewalls temporarily and/or mapping the folder manually with an internal ip address like \\192.168.1.100\Shared

Make sure that file & printer sharing is enabled on the host machine along with disabling the firewalls on a temporary basis. Once you have it working re-enable the firewall on one machine & retest, then re-enable the firewall on the other machine. If you have a probleem once the firewalls are enabled these will need to be configured correctly to allow access from the other machines IP addresses.
