Transfer XP to Another HDD?

Would it be possible to transfer all the files of an XP installation onto another HDD without affecting it? As in, I wouldn't need to re-activate? Then could I just run a FIXMBR FIXBOOT from the XP CD to write a new MBR to the other HDD?

It is possible. You would have to use something like Symantec Livestate recovery, Symantec Ghost, or Drive Image. Symantec Livestate has a trail i believe.
