Vista Registry Cleaners?

Do Registry Cleaners designed for XP/2000 work correctly on Vista, or does Vista have different registry values that the cleaner would think were bad? I have an older Registry Mechanic that served me well in XP, but I'm wondering if that would be bad to use on Vista.
