No Sound

Hello so i have sound if i play a mp3 in media player but when i go to youtube in Firefox on internet explorer no sound no sound on start up or shutdown but when i play my game sound ???? whats up with that can anyone help .

Check the sound tab in control panel and review all the settings. Tried internet explorer? That would help rule out browser-issues.

Do you have multiple sound cards in your box and messed up windows media settings that's outputting sound to the one you're connected to?

has your sound ever worked in a web browser?have you tried updating/installing audio drivers? have you checked the your mobo jumper behind the I/O sound?when you play a mp3 does you play it from a cd or a file on your pc? make sure you turn the sound on in youtube and such

Yep worked before,re installed drivers .checked jumper plunged in right hole .can play mp3 form file and cd and sound on in youtube.

I would also update the onbaord sound driver/check windows update and 'Reset your web settings' in IE Tools / Internet Options
