Crash without bsod

Hi all,
If you have read the hardware forum, I finally got the new rig I saved up for. It's the following:
Antec P182 Case
Cooler Master 550W PSU
Gigabyte Superclocked 8800GT 512MB
4GB DDR running at ~840MHz RAM speed, its a bandwidth issue)
320GB Maxtor SATA II HDD /w NCQ
GA-X38-DS4 Motherboard
E8400 @ 3.0-4.0GHz 6MB cache 1333FSB
Cooler Master TX-2 Heatsink
Creative SB X-Fi Xtreme Audio 7.1 Channels PCI Express Interface Sound Card

Anyway, I got it yesterday and installed windows xp home and a bunch of my progs. The only games I play at the moment are CS:Source and Warcraft 3 FT. Anyway, for some reason when I ran CS:Source it crashed a few times about 5 minutes in. It would continue to crash at around the same time. I tried going into system>advanced>unchecking auto-reboot but there still is no blue screen that shows up. The computer hangs and loops the sound in CS:Source that was happening and the monitor shuts off.

I looked in system events [event viewer] and found yellow notices about the following:
1.TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts.

2. Your computer was not able to renew its address from the network (from the DHCP Server) for the Network Card with network address 001A4D5A5711. The following error occurred:
The semaphore timeout period has expired. . Your computer will continue to try and obtain an address on its own from the network address (DHCP) server.

Could it be a shortage of power issue? I doubt it...

Would like to mention after about 3 crashes I ran source without changing anything major for a good hour and a half. Then this morning crashes started again [ left computer on overnight ]

If you guys can help me figure out why I can't get bsod or see something else wrong I'd be very grateful
Thanks for reading!

Edit: In the process of running a trend micro virus scan atm.

Hi!

Congrats to the new rig!

I seriuosly doubt it's a psu problem.

But hanging around at the Nvidia forums. I have seen this happend in CS source. With the 8800GT and the G 92 gpu 8800GTS 512mb.

No real soloutions found though.

Only advice is to get another driver like this:

http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=1814

But uninstall the present Forceware driver first, before installing the next one.

If CSS are using "punkbuster"? Update it.

Shut off the X-FI option in the game options, as this have been reported to chrash some games.

If this is the only game you have problems with? Maybe you should talk to some guys at a CS forum?

I read somewhere this violates a microsoft warranty or license of some sort.
