How Can I Tell If My Laptop's Hard Drive Interface is SATA150 or SATA3GB/s

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

The laptop came with a SATA150 hard drive, but then again it might be the manufacture just put a SATA150 driver in it while it can support SATA3GB/s. It is a HP dv6500t, I checked the HP's website on the laptop's specification but it didn't say. Anybody know how do I find out?

I googled "dv6500t product specs" and that was the first result.

You could also trying installing something, like SisSoft Sandra, and then look under the motherboard option to see what it is listed as.

Oh ok, thanks guys. I saw that webpage too but I wasn't sure if it's the spec of the manufacture configuration for the hard drive or the actual compatibility of the motherboard.
