Evga Step-Up Program

Hey folks considering this:
Step-up my 8800 GTX to 9800 GX2, total cost to me (other than about a week of no GPU) is around $145. However, I would like to know if anyone knows when the release date for the 9800 GTX is?
Curious, as the 9800 GTX apparantly:
1. Runs cooler.
2. Supports DirectX 10.1
3. GDDR 4

The 9800GTX should be out around the 1 of April. But this is not confirmed yet. Just romours. So check out newegg / Ncix, now and then.
Direct X 10.1 is pretty uninteresting. You will probably have to wait quite some time before you see any games that supports this. The game manufacturers, will have enough to do, playing around with DX 10 for quite some time yet. And I'll guess, when we will see DX 10.1 supported games. The GF cards will be named series 11.
Also, before you upgrade. Try to find compairative tests between the 9800GX2 and the 9800GTX before you decide.
