Overnight Prime95 Torture Test For Overclock Stability!

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Just a little info for any Overclocking Rookies (as myself). Don't forget to "disable" Automatic Download / Install of Windows Updates (Control Panel), if you are lwaving your Rig to run Prime95 Torture Test overnight when testing Overclock Stability!
Trust me, you'll waste a lot of time bumping up Voltages unecessarily if you leave this on!
Also, I disabled Norton Internet Security (- ok ok ok, relax all you Norton Bashers, I've been using it for 3 yrs now and it runs flawlessly and seem to "slow down" my Rigs) as it may decide conflict with the Torture Test ( in this case I disconnect my LAN cable entirely).

This may be a no brainer for most folks, but I just figured it out, so though I'd pass it on!

Cheers

PS E8400 Stable at 3.8 Ghz vCore 1.35625v, still within Intels VID Parameters, but thats it! Could likely go to 4.0 Ghz, but why....!?
