<a href="http://www.introversion.co.uk/">Introversion Software</a> has made a little PC hacking game called Uplink. I downloaded the demo a couple months ago, and finally bought the full version last week. The demo is well worth the download, and the full version is even better.
You play an Uplink Agent who makes a living by performing jobs for major corporations. Your tasks involve hacking into rival computer systems, stealing research data, sabotaging other companies, laundering money, erasing evidence, or framing innocent people.

Thats a cool game. I think I may buy the full version too. I messed up on the demo cuz I didnt buy a log deleter so I couldnt finish the test mission, but Ill try again. In the full version, can you turn the resolution up?

I believe so. I just got my full version on saturday. I'm going to play it for a few days then write up a review.

Im pretty much addicted to this game now. Its a must buy. I get caught a lot but Ill eventually figure out how to be more careful. Is it only available for purchase online?

Yeah, they hope to get a distributor to box it up and sell it, but the only way that will happen is if sales are strong and word of mouth.
Like I said the full version is well worth the 24.95 purchase. I have played through it many times. Whats even cooler is that you can actually hack bank accounts of your other games that are in play.
