Designtechnica takes a first look at Handsprings new Treo Communicator 180 and 180G. The convergence between cell phones and PDA’s comes a little closer with the new Treo. Other companies have tried this convergence before but wound up with bulky are underpowered with memory and features. Here is a piece from the review:
"We have played with various cell phones that claim to offer PDA functionalities, but they usually offer little in compatibility with your average computer system, or they have insufficient memory.
Most cell phones on the market that offer an integrated Palm OS have been bulky and expensive. It looks like this new Treo communicator is a good compromise in size and price."
