Yahoo IM Service Downtime

Yahoo's Instant Messanger service experienced problems earlier today, ceasing some user's communication. Yahoo did not disclose the reasons behind the server failure or the amount of users affected. Downtime was no longer than 24 hours.
Yahoo has reported that the server problem has been fixed and the service is back to normal.
