I got a Diablo , starcraft , BATTLE.NET Problem..

Hi everyone,
I got a problem that i cant solve by myself. I've tried to reinstall each game 3-4 time, remove all files with a connection to these games in the registery and now i dunno what to do. My OS is win98 i got 256 ram + a p2 333mhz.
My problem is : When I open a blizzard game ( starcraft diablo etc.. ) everything is ok.. for starcraft when i got to the section Multiplayer it take about 50 second to load ... like something beside starcraft load but everything i closed. Finally i enter inthe multiplayer section, battle.net hi highlighted and i click " OK" now its the battle.net loggin screen, after few second its says
" Blizzard was unable to reconize your application plz reinstall or if .... blalblabla VIRUS" i dont remember all the sentense but i saw the work Virus ... Im not a newbie im cpu but now i dunno what to do. And i forgot to mention ... this is happen with diablo1 and brood war..
I didnt try with diablo2 cuz my cd is broken...
All my cd are original and i tried to install all game with 3 different cd with different emplacement i think im hacked by someone and the loading time when i was to go to multiplayer section have an implication into this.
Plz guys help me...

Have you EVER been able to use a Blizzard game in multiplayer? Is this a recent problem or has this happened ever since you got the game?
If you're worried about virus activity, go to http://securityresponse.symantec.com/ and under the heading "Virus Definitions" select "Free Online Virus and Security Check."
The exact error message (without the "blablabla" part) would be helpful as well..
Have you changed any of your settings lately (firewall, ISP, etc)?

Ive try something else...
I uninstalled everything ( Game, Icq, IE, mIRC ). did a full scandisk, defrag,and reinstalling Diablo1 ... Same Story ... no Is not my ISP cuz im writing right here.. maybe im a target of a virus.. plz guys help me..
and the blabla part was no important..
" if the reinstallation is unsucessful maybe u got a virus...... "

Just check out yor computer for viruses....That might be the problem if it says while trying to log onto B.net.

im having the same problem when i click multiplayer it takes a minute to load and i have p3 866 with 128ram anyways the full error message is
Battle.net was unable to properly identify your application version. Please uninstall and then reinstall the application if the problems persist then you may have a computer virus
then it just says to contact blizzard for more info
but ive reinstalled many times also
if anyone can help id be very grateful

Neither of you are using any no-cd cracks are you? And you are using a legit copy of the game? Cause if you aren't, don't expect it to work.

This happened to a couple friends of mine. There is either a virus on your computer or there is something wrong with your cd. Their cd's were corrupted because they were pirated but if your using the original. It's probably a virus you got.

It rarely occurs with me, I was just on BNET playing SC and my brother wanted to play. I logged out and reconnected and the message came out. I figured someone else is using my CD key. I've checked for a virus using symantec anti virus and nothing comes up. If you wait a while, it should be fine. Oh yea, I'm playing with the real version.

That hapens 2 me 2 zero but if u exit game u ll propably be fine [otherwise make a restart]. and now 2 my problem which is much similar 2 all of the above. I have 2 pc's and both have melenium [2 bad 4 me i know..] Now the firrst one is conected 2 internet and playing 4 ex.diabloii the seconnd one has finaly got into starcraft chat[im using win gate and socscapv2} but whaen i try 2 enter a game it says i cant and when i make a game others see a mesage ''latency too high''. I have readen all the suport pages of Blizzard and it shows no solution for melenium .only 4 xp and 2000 .U have any idea of what is going on?
