Earlier today, in a meeting between Toshiba and Infineon, talks of a memory chip production partnership were dropped. Toshiba ended with a 964 million in debt between April and September, and was looking for a way to release pressure.

Instead, Toshiba opted out and proceeded to sell off it's plant in Virginia to Micron. Infineon said it was still open to other talks with memory chip producers.
