DOES Anyone Know If You Can Setup Diablo2:LOD To Play TCP/IP On A Peer-To-Peer Network? One Computer Running WinXP & One Running Win98. Both Computers Have NIC Cards & Are Connected VIA Crossover Cable.

Sorry about the length of time it took to get any sort of reply to your question.. The OTS staff is on our holiday vacation! (Hey, even WE gotta have time to play with our new toys and see Lord of the Rings once or twice!)
At any rate, YES, D2:LOD does support peer-to-peer TCP/IP connection play. If you're having trouble, first try http://www.blizzard.com/support/ind...lo2&Action=List and scroll down until you see "TCP/IP and Open Battle.net" (it's the fifth or sixth heading on that page).
If you don't find what you're looking for there, post back with specific questions or information about your problem. Good luck!

1 Make sure both of your computers have identical workgroup names.
2 Enable Sharing on Both PC's
3 Make sure your medium types are set identical on both cards, this is usually set in the cards main config or setup program.
