Try unchecking the "automatically restart" box in the Startup and Recovery window:
Start - Settings - Control Panel - System - Advanced - Startup and Recovery - Settings
See if that helps.

It may keep it from restarting automatically. But, you may still see errors.
It really sounds like a bad memory stick.

Another source of computer restarts may be the sound system. Try playing with the sound turned off to see if that makes a difference. Your audio drivers may need updating, or the game may simply be incompatible with your audio setup.
Another possibility to consider is excessive memory usage. Perhaps a component of your system has a "leak" that uses up all of the memory, and the operating system will almost always "hang" when it runs out of memory. While you are playing a game, look at the Windows Task Manager (or equivalent on other operating systems) to see if your memory consumption keeps growing. Usage typically increases after booting and when new applications are started, but this should stabilize in a minute or two.
One more possible culprit is the driver for your video card. There may be a "bug" in the video device driver causing the system crash.

I would do as Tweaker suggested, turn off the automatic restarts, at least this way you'll have a better idea of what's going on when your system crashes.
I also agree with Kdr Kane, a bad memory stick could be a very likely cuplrit. I recently swapped my memory stick, and as far as BSoD's are concerned, I havn't seen one in about a week. I used to see one every 1 to 2 days, and could not see any discernable patern to the time of the crashes.
Drivers, yes. Like Tweaker said, check your drivers, make sure you have the latest stable release. Though determining whether their stable or not is a tough question. Usually, WHQL drivers are very stable in Windows. Might be a good place to start.
If you can't get a better idea of what's going on after trying the steps posted by Tweaker and Kdr Kane, you might want to post your system specs. Someone might have a similar system and have a better idea of what might be going on.
