I played UO for two weeks, then mailed the game to someone on bnet.
It sucked. You put a roll of quarters on the keyboard to push the right key to train the character.
Asheron's Call was quite a bit better. But it suffered because people can get to level 50 in a few weeks with the crappy allegiance system.

UO is a MMORPG that mixees 2d and 3d and makes me naseus. Wich is why i quit. I tihnk i played close to 3 or 4 hours before i quit.

When I killed my OSI account I couldn't bring myself back to the game, but I run a sphere shard for single player quite often.
If you're thinking about playing again nova, that would be a good thing to try first, it's fairly easy to set up.
But, I don't mind UO SP because I was more often than not on my own in the game, bunch of free shards to play on if you want the group aspect.
I wouldn't pay for it again though.
