Desktop themes

When I go to Desktop themes ther are no pictures, just a blank screne. Does anyone know how to fix this?

go to my computer / control panel / add/remove programs & select windows setup
make sure themes are loaded
my computer/control panel/desktop themes // select theme of choice - setup and exit
next go to "desktop" right click "properties"
should have "Plus" selection under background
Plus will show picture of present choice of themes
