AIM Exploit Uncovered

Like some one said, the only safe safe computer is the one left on the O.F.F. position

As if AOL was feeling left out of the security hole party, a new hole was discovered in AOL's Instant Messenger program by a group of international researchers called "w00w00" (who's website couldn't handle the traffic or "fame" of such a discovery and died several times this afternoon after being linked to by Slashdot and their ilk). The exploit is capable of giving a hacker complete control of the attacked PC, according to experts at AOL. An AOL spokesman has said: "We have identified the issue and have developed a resolution that should be deployed in the next day or two."

I remember way back about so many moons ago when I use to drive Mack Trucks for Waste Mgt. (Front End Loader). I use to tell everyone when they ask "What Do You Do For A Living?"

I would simply reply, "Well, Actually I'm A Sanitation Engineer!"
