I don't know. While you are waiting for new DBZ or whatever the hell you were talking about, check out CowboyBebop. It was a TV series in Japan (some reason it was never aired here in the US) and it is available on 6 dvds with 4 episodes on each disc. It is the best anime I have ever seen. The episodes revolve around Spike- a bounty hunter in the future. He has a tough guy partner named Jet who doesnt speak much, but when he does, is quite funny. As spike and Jet go from planet to planet collecting criminals for bounties, they meet up with a couple other characters who join them. The best part about the series is the humor. Some episodes are hillarious (one has spike and his crew traveling to earth looking for Beta tapes- pre VCR) and some episodes are serious, with intense action scenes. Damn!Bebop is by far the best anime series out there. The DVDs can be difficult to find depending on where you live, but trust me, they are worth it!

Correction AK47. Two of the dvds have to have 5 episodes, or one of the dvds has six episodes, cause there are 26 episodes in the series, just like every other anime (26 episodes is one tv season in japan).

I'm still looking to get the DVDs myself. I know a place here that has them but the bastards want 55$ a piece. Bleh.

BTW, I just ordered two of the cowboy bebop dvds (5 & 6) and I'm probably going to buy 3 and 4 tonight.

I checked up on it ak47 it seems pretty cool.......... also seems very similar to the show outlaw star it seems top me to be almost the same exact thing except for the fact that there r different characters and in outlaw star they r outlaws insteadd of bounty hunting they do some bunty hunting but its not liek an every day thing.

Outlaw star is also excellent, but they aren't really the same. There are a very large amount of differences.

To tell all the differences though would be to give away story http://www.opentechsupport.net/forums/smile.gif

Well, I cant find 4 anywhere around me! I pay $30 a piece. Damn nova- $55 thats pretty steep. Oh wait a sec, thats canadian right? Can't you just trade some hockey sticks or molson ice for some beebop dvds? just kidding- canadia rules!

I wouldn't count on The Maijin Buu saga airing until early to mid fall of 2001. It's pattern. The first part of the Freiza (end of Raditz saga) started in the fall (though it was finished up before fall of the next year. And then, Android Saga/Cell Game started in the fall. So, I would expect it then.

That's not really what I'm waiting for though. As soon as they get it totally translated, they will go straight on to DVD. So, when Maijin Boo comes out, you will be able to buy all the episodes from the original Dragonball through the end of DBZ (and all the movies in between) in English versions. This is what I'm waiting for. Forget cartoon network. I will have the whole Buu Saga (and everything before it) before the first week of the Cartoon Network Buu saga has finished.

Mwahahaha!

Good work. As soon as you get 1 2 and 3, set aside a whole day and watch all the episodes in order. That's cool. I hope you watch in Japanese with english subts. Bebop and all other anime just isn't the same in english. Am I alone in thinking this?

Also, Nova- have you heard about the up comming Bebop movie? My brother mentioned it to me, but he didnt know the details.

Of course I watch in japanese. Though bebop has a decent cast of english voice actors.

The movie is due out this summer in japan, and it set somewhere between episodes 20 and 24.

I dislike the ending, cant say more than that without ruining it for people that see it. Couple things though

1) not nearly enough swearing, there woulda been a lotta places where any real person woulda just started spewing trash from their mouth, if someone shot me Id be saying a lot more than ow.

2) Great Fight scenes, just awsome.

3) hmmm cant tell you 3 till you've seen it...

Overall I'd say it was a great series, woulda been nice to see a little bit more of a story line but on the same token if i want to pop in the dvd and watch a random episode it wont be like im missing anything.

Posted by: AK47

I think there is enough swearing in bebop. Just about every sentice has "kuso!" in it wich traslates to sh*t in english. The problem is that the subtitles often fail to pick up on those common occurrences.

Posted by: Scav

Oh I only watch it in english, that could be where im losing that. Hey in japan does Faye ever say anything to Spike about loving him or anything, i was like 'what the hell' in the last episode.

Posted by: Null Actor

I have them all!

Cowboy Bebop Vol. 6 DVD

Go to the extras menu. Highlight the image gallery. Then hit the left arrow button six times. You will notice the "mm" button becoming gradually un-highlighted as you go. On the sixth press, you'll highlight the red eye on Ein's visor. Hit enter to access the super-secret Ein Gallery, a section devoted totally to pics of Ein. Submitted by Joe McCulloch and David Weaver.

On the Extras screen, if you hit "5" on your remote control, it brings up a special "Ein Gallery". Submitted by Brian LaShomb.

I only have Cowboy Bebop on VHS subs so I don't know if it works. Hope someone would try it out and tell me if it does
