If you liked that satire skit form a Japanese Saturday Night live type show that took off due to popularity...if you can believe that, then you may want to look here at the webs various strange movies from a site called Animutation. Be sure to look at the fanimutations also...truly weird stuff.

Swilo, Japan isn't good for anything exept video games, some cartoons, and overcrowding.

You forgot swanky import cars and cool electronics Bluntly speaking, all the cool shit are made in Japan...
Hell, chances are, most of the things you are using today are Made in Japan Unless you bought an Xbox, that is...
Posted by: Null Actor
All the truly cool shit comes from japan. And our culture is just as dependant on it as they are.
Posted by: Darky!
Nonononono, We are dependant on Maylissa or whatever that sweatshop country is called. The one that makes hotwheels and just about everything else.
Not alll cool stuff comes from japan. The really good caars that everyone wants and drools over and wishes they can buy, defenitly aren't made there, as those people have no taste. Not to mention the wierd TV shows they watch.

LOL I can't believe they love that stuff. http://silverbolt.opentechsupport.n...rsonal/puke.gif
As for who makes the best stuff. Taiwan is right up there and probably has more to do with what is inside your computer than any other country.

Name something other than processors that are made in Malaysia that you actually use
Come to think of it, name an Asian import car not made in Japan ... The only ones I can think of are Kia and Hyundai, and those are Korean cars...
And I'd drool over a a rice rocket more than fuel gurgling, overrated american and european cars ... a Toyota Supra sounds better to me than a Mustang, Camaro or even a Lamborghini

Who can claim Japan produces nothing of quality with such fine examples as The Asian Prince.

After World War 2, Japan made a niche for itself during its industrial revolution. At first, they did not create anything new, but stole and borrowed Western designs and improved upon it. To this day, their designes are just as good, with impeccable designs and engineering. Interesting that at one time, made in Japan was synonymous with junk, as today made in Korea or Malaysia, or any other third rate manufacturing country. I foresee a time that made in Korea will be good stuff.
Western world imparts industrialization to those countries that offer advantages for manufacturing plants. Cheap labor, easy to no taxation, and a reliable and willing labor force are all things that production plants and their corporations find so endearing. It is of note that eventually, today’s slum markets and sweat shops will turn into respectable products and businesses that will garner high quality prices. At which point, the corporations will move onto another willing country to make their cheap junk.
This is a cycle. Japan has turned full circle. They now own many corporations that now move into these cheap labor force markets in other countries. Their products are slipping in quality due to this regardless of how stringent their quality control is. Fact is, their products command a premium because their labor forces command a premium for their expertise and workmanship.
To my eyes, it just isn't Japanese quality if it is not made in Japan. many Japanese products are made off shore, so its back to a buyers beware market. The quality is still there, but it is sometimes harder to find. I do view Japan engineering to be right up there with Germany. That is no small feat. Both their products are top notch as well as their work ethics.
