-The OCWorkBench has some news on SiS's newest P4 chipset additions:
The SiS646 is an updated version of the company’s discrete chipset SiS645, and the SiS651 is a newer integrated product. Both the SiS646 and SiS651 will support the new-generation P4 processors, feature a FSB (front-side bus) speed up to 533MHz and incorporate the ATA-133 interface. The two chipsets are set to enter volume production in March.
There will be more specification changes in the SiS655 and SiS660, which are expected to be launched in April. The south bridge of the SiS655 will be the 962 chip, instead of the present 961. In the north bridge, the SiS655 will feature new USB2.0 and IEEE 1394 transmission interfaces. The characteristics of the integrated SiS660 chipset will be about the same as the SiS655.
