Diablo 2 video resolution prob... This is a wierd one...

Hey every1! I'm runnin a voodoo3 3000 w/ 16 megs of video memory, and 192mb of ram. When i load diablo 2 LOD, the resolution is very high. I want to set it lower because - well - it runs kinda shitty. I went into the game options and tried to change the video mode. It said it was already at 640x480, but it looks more like 800x600. As i said, this is a wierd one. Any help would be appreciated. IM, private message, post, E-mail, ANYTHING - i really wanna play this kickass game!

Well obviously its already at the lowest setting. The lowest setting looks the crappiest so you want to raise the resolution rather than lower it. Change it to 800x600. It looks about 50x better than the 640x480 mode.
If you have FPS problems with it in 800x600, run the game windowed, but only if your desktop is at 1024x768. I increased my average FPS by 40 by playing the game windowed.

And if i cant raise my desktop res? also, how do i set it to play windowed?
I have it installed on another comp, and everything actually looks like its at 640x480. Everything looks tiny on this comp when its run at 640x480
