I just bought LoD a few days ago. when I first installed it, it told me that I had a bad file, so I reinstalled (several times), and got the same message, and the CD is in decent condition(a few very light scratches). So I hoped I could play anyway. But about 5 minutes into every game my comp freezes(a hard freeze, alt-tab and alt-ctrl-delete don't work, I have to re-boot). I figure the problem is with the CD, if it is will Bliz replace it, or am I just ....ed?
Oh and D2 always worked fine before I went and put LoD on
Asus A7Pro Mobo
AMD Athlon T-Bird 900MHz @ 990MHz
384 MB PC-100 RAM
GeForce3 TI200
SoundBlaster Live! Value
Creative 52x CD-ROM
Iomega 12x4x32 CDRW
If anyone has any idea of what else it could be, I'm open for suggestions
