Do I Qualify? Fill out the shackdsl.net test form and it will test your address. Just select the "gamer" box.
In light of the recent turbulent events in the broadband market, I've expedited plans to offer ShackDSL to gamers around the USA in partnership with SPEAKEASY.NET who are also our gracious hosts for Shacknews and Fileshack. This page will be replaced in the near future, but we have the service already available ahead of schedule before the website, why not offer it early?

I can't say much for their rates, but i've not looked at DSL rates in a while.

I think that should be more like "Free DSL, Rent A GeForce 3". Those prices are just too high! YIPES!

You poor americans and your expensive internet connections.
They call you guys civilized... but you can't even get broadband for a reasonable price!
Here in Wired Canada, the average broadband connection is only a little bit more a month than a dialup account.
For example, your average unlimited dialup account will be 20-25$ a month CDN ($13-17 USD), and broadband is rarely above 40$ a month CDN (About $25 USD), and it's hard to find broadband crappier than 1.5down/128up.
My standard cable connection here is 2down/.5 up. 20$ a month. (Thats about 13$ USD suckers!!)
