Msi Sucks!

I'll never buy an MSI motherboard again, and I'm ditching mine as soon as I can.
If I have more than one stick of ram in the motherboard, I get occasional random reboots and lock ups.
It's not the ram, cause either stick individually works perfectly fine. I've tested with other ram as well.
Screw MSI. Junk.

Well, I have a new MSI K7T266 Pro2, and I have absolutely no problems with it. What model are you running Nova? Have you flashed the BIOS? I've read where things like that happened with older MSI boards with the KT133 and KT133A chipsets. Maybe you should contact MSI about it.. The rep that was at the booth where I got my board told me that I could contact thier tech support and have them do a rundown system check on the board... And maybe, you just got a bad apple. :\ Sorry to hear of your luck..

It's an MSI K7T Turbo LE. And though I haven't flashed to the absolute latest bios (mine is a few months old), the fact of the matter is that I shouldn't have to.
I will never buy another MSI product. I won't bother contacting their tech support, because that is nothing but a waste of time where they offer to RMA the board, and I'm out of a computer for 4-6 weeks. Screw that.

Ohh well, it's up to you. But maybe it is thier problem, and it's not your fault, maybe they can fix it. But if you're not willing to at least try, you'll never know. But it's up to you.
I like my K7T266 Pro2, It's a very nice board and comes with alot of nifty features, and it's red too. Ehehe

You haven't had your board long enough to know if it's good. :P

thats what made me fed up with third party boards/chipsets and why i dont own a AMD anymore.

It has nothing to do with the chipset or processor. The only problem here is MSI's shoddy quality. I've owned plenty of VIA motherboards that accepted multiple dimms without complaint.
This is the first that's had an issue, and which do you think is more likely: That every single via chipset outthere can only support 1 dimm; Or MSI just sucks.
I think it's far more likely that MSI just sucks, because if it was the chipset, this would have been in the news long ago.

My pet turtle can make a good driver CD. That's nothing special.
