Favorite Fast Food?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Well I just had some Wendys and I wanted to know what you guys like.

Posted by: Tweaker

Wendy's is my choice. I don't usually eat at these fast food restaurants to much.

Posted by: Spider

Schlotzsky's Deli.

Who can say no to a sandwich like that?

OOO looks yummy

Posted by: Ion Silverbolt

Ack! Schlotzsky employees wipe their asses with the buns before they serve them.

Well that's probably not true but their food takes like crap to me.

If I had to pick the best, it would be Fazoli's although the term fast food is an oxymoron.

Posted by: Canis Lupus

Burger King is just across the street from us (literally) ... I only eat the Chicken sandwiches ... but I'm trying to cut down

Posted by: Spider

lol Ion

Posted by: NetRanger

its McDonalds...its also my choice...#5 supersized

Posted by: Chako

Wendy's hands down.

I can't stand McDonalds because one day, fast food became a 5 minute discussion in one of my classes. One of my students who worked at one of the local McD's told us that they were instructed to salt their patties. This came out after I said that the Big Xtras were strange tasting. Go figure. Would I eat at a place that saltes..er seasons their meat patties? No way!

I won't eat at the local Burger Kings because I am allergic to their Mayo sauce.

Wendy's makes the best chilly (even beats Tim Hortons). I usually order a chilly and large fry to go.

Posted by: Null Actor

Wendy's has good chicken too. I love the pitas.

Posted by: Dabom

EDIT: I didn't see the thread that was started for Dave.

Posted by: Bishop

Nothing, and I mean nothing beats a good old White Castle ratburger.

Just don't eat more than two or three a year.

Posted by: Darky!

Chacko, you REALLY don't wanna know where the meat for wendys chilly comes from if you eat the stuff... But I'm going to tell you anyway. The weat they don't sell at the end of the day, is placed into a paper bag with a date, every day, until chile season arives, then, they take out the meat, re-heat, and make chilly with it. How do I know? A friend I've known since I was 5, baisically, my best friend, works at wendys... the rest is self explanitory.

Posted by: EOT(US)

Darky ...... gee thanks we really needed to hear that! hehe

...... but we would all be amazed if we knew what went on in food processing plants, I am sure! Several years ago we had a friend that worked for Swanson Frozen Foods (frozen dinners) .... and he told us that when the line workers got "bored" they used to play around with the Enchilidas ..... sticking them in their ears and stuff! Ewwwwwww Let's just hope that Bill Clinton was not one of those workers!!! Yikes!

..... so I am sure that what Wendy's is doing is nothing more than any other fast food places do .... matter of fact .... that doesn't sound all that bad anyway hehe

You mean you have "never" had "left-overs"?

Ha, tell that to my brother. I almost vomited myself when he told me he finished half a crave case the other night. 15 burgers...sickening.

I gave up on fast food (burger places like mc donalds). The occasional chicken product from wendy's or an apple pie from mc donalds is all I'll eat. Blimpie is good- they make sub sandwiches that put Subway to shame.

plus, their tuna is "Dolphin safe" (whether that means its safe for dolphins to eat or there are no dolphins inside is a mystery I havent figured out yet)

Posted by: Cheese

don't deny those 2 for 2 whoppers we got over the summer AK.

Posted by: The-AoD

Well, I pick Dairy Queen myself. I like thier Triple Bacon Cheese Burgers, they put the newer BK triple Bacon away..

Plus, they make some pretty kickass shakes as well.

*Thinks about a, "How many forum users does it take to pick a fast food resteraunt", post*

Posted by: SKYHN

I voted other because I like Taco Bell and Wendy's evenly.

Posted by: The_Druidess

The only thing I get at DQ is Ice Cream.

And what Ak said Blimpie's is amazing, they make the best subs.

Posted by: Darky!

I take it you people don't have a Mr. Goodcents in your areas? Or is it just a local thing around here? Mr. Goodcents, atleast my local one, makes subs that puts the local blimpys to shame, wich, is going out of bussiniess due to lack of bussiness...

I don't eat fast food that much. If I do buy a burger I buy the real thing at a Drive in by my place called The Wave. They don't use pickles instead its relish. Realllllyyy good.

But like I said I don't eat fast food much. I'm a ex-fatguy that got skinny and it wasn't from eating Subway every day.

Now I watch my carb intake pretty carefully.

I prefer the oft beaten paths of old Fave Drive-Ins from the 50's. Mugs Up is my fave. 5 cheese chili dawgs, extra onions, a mug of Root Beer, And A Root Beer Float. hell, I even have a Jacket like the carhops wear. Believe it or not, the National Biggie Foodies are not the best places to go for your Salt and Grease. Seek out your local joints that your parents went to as kids... and their parents.

Bleh! screw u all! carl's jr. all the way!!!!

food of choice 2 quarter pound double cheese burgers with mayo and katsup hehe its always better if u got a medium shake to go w/ it hehe

Posted by: Erekose

Hmm, I don't know if it qualifies as fast-food per se, but we have a small place near here called Meal Works (one of my father's friends from work opened the place). They have a set menu per day along with daily dinner and sandwich specials. They also make their own salads, pasta sauce, desserts, etc. You get more food than the burger joints for a similar price (in most cases cheaper) and you can be sure the meat is animal in origin (what exactly is the meat they use for kfc from anyway. I've heard the term 'cluck' used before, but...) Heh, not to mention the owners give me a discount. Only thing they could do to improve would be to sell coffee shakes

Hey RAT ....
We have one of those left here in town! and it is GREAT! .... Bubb's..... Grill fried, greasy hambugers that are made from "bulk fresh ground meat", (not frozen hockey puc's), and milkshakes made with "real ice cream" yummmmmmmy! and fountain made cherry cokes! (Ask RavenStorm about this place .... one time when he dropped by we had dinner from there!)

There is a fairly new chain that is opening up all over the place called In-N-Out Burgers .... that are attempting to bring back the "old time" type of fast food. They have a "very" limited menu .... make their french fries with REAL POTATOES, on site, and they are pretty dang good, too! (if their advertising is true ... they have been around for several years .... only they have started opening in new locations.)

P.S. RAT .... I fondly remember those Drive-Ins you mentioned .... I worked in one of them when I was in high school. And YES..... AoD and Gerb ..... they had cars when I was in high school! hehe

I don't know how anyone can eat a Whitecastle hamburger. It's like bread with a slab of grease in the middle. Nothing more.

If you do somehow manage that stunt, be sure to keep the Crave Case. (Preferably get an extraone so it ain't covered in greese) Then you can put it up on your mantle like a trophy.

I like Arby's. Two big roast beefs. Yum!

Posted by: smithersdd

To me they all taste alike. But since Dave Thomas just died, i'll have to vote for Wendy's.

Posted by: PhantomGamer

I need to say Wendy's with there good Chile yum
but KFC isn't to bad
