Camera Dead? Check Out The New INSTANT POWER

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Electric Fuel released their new INSTANT POWER batteries last Tuesday. They apparently can last up to 12 hours with continuous use:

Like the company's INSTANT POWER camcorder batteries introduced last year, these disposable power sources deliver as much as 12 hours of continuous use - up to five times more than on-board AA alkaline batteries and considerably more than AA rechargeables. Their 3300 mAh capacity makes it possible to take up to 4,000 digital photos without changing or recharging the battery, offering a special advantage for vacations, family celebrations and similar events involving lengthy photo sessions.

I would assume these could be used for anything requiring AA batteries, but it appears the batteries are bought inside a special case which hooks into the camera, reducing their use to the following brands: Olympus, Kodak and Nikon Coolpix. The company also makes different batteries for camcorders, cellphones, and electric vehicles. Read the press release here. More details on these batteries are here.
