Hotkey Command Removal

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I had someone ask me how to remove a hot-keyed command and I drew a blank.

They wanted to set it to nothing. D1 did it automatically, but D2 sets them and leaves them from one time to the next for every character. So can they be re-set to blank? I suggested keying it to some scroll, using it and then just leaving it blank, but if you ever picked up another of the same type of scroll again, it would be set again.

So.

Not that I care particularly, but in the pursuit of academic interest, can a hot key be shut off?

Heh.

Hmm...not sure if I understand but if you delete the .key file for your chars, you'll have the default hotkeys again.

I think if you push the hotkey button that is assigned to that particular key, it will remove the key. Not sure if that works though.

I like hotkeys though, they are very usefull, especially in dueling. I have S set to my right skill menu, and A, D, F, G, and E as hotkeys. Saves a lot of time when you dont have to move your hands accross the keyboard to F1/F2/Etc..
