I haven't seen it, but I can take a guess. I can remember a time when there used to be a lot of people who made demos.
Demos back then consisted of neat graphics (2D & 3D)and music tied into a package that was designed to show of your skills. The "Demo Scene" got to be real big in the mid to late 80s, and then petered out in popularity. I am sure to this day however, that there are still a small rabid following of demo makers. Back then, you could log onto a BBS and download them to show your friends what your hot machine could do. Oh by the way, the demo scene was biggest in Europe. It got to be where competition was stiff. Think of demo makers as competing DJs, and you get the picture.
