Before i go and say that this game is probably still in developement, or Raven Software finished it but just never got it puiblished, I'm going to ask if anyone else has seen or heard anytihng about it?

See, I've come across the game by luck of toss, and it obviously is not very old. It runs on its own 3d engine, and supports OpenGL, software rendering, 3dfx glide, and some other stuff I've forgotten since I've played it a few minutes ago.

I've included a screenshot of the first level, the floating red corcle to the left of the characters head is acctually the crosshair.

I have Heretic 2 somewhere in my stack of games. If I remember right it had a decent story and was fun. I liked it better than Hexen 2 which came out at the same time.

Yeah, Hexen 2 sucked, I was very unimpressed with the demo, and never bothered buying the game.

I never bought my copy. I won it in part of a package in a Quake 2 tournament a local internet cafe. At the time I got a K62 400 Mobo 128 MBs RAM, Monster II Voodoo 2 card, and a bunch of software for taking top place.

I beat the guy who ran and owned the store. I wish I had gotten that good at Quake 3.

Yah would kind of figure. Oh well.
