Volume control Window, Sound cards, audio drivers.and Turtle Beach Santa Cruz Sound c

My computer hasent had any sound for some time. It has a Turtle Beach sound card, The volume control window does,nt open.--a Santa Cruz one. The latest sound card drivers don,t seem to work.Should I phone a technician?

You could always try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. Also, just to make absolutely sure, make sure all of the speaker connections are in good working order.
