Malicious Code

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Several months ago, my computer started freezing up or having the monitor screen go black when I viewed my own
website. AVG found a trojan horse, and it was deleted with a trojan horse
delete program. All virus programs, and THdelete programs are running clear
now. HOWEVER, my computer still freezes up when I view my own website. I can
surf forever and a day with no problems, except at the URL of my own site. I
can login to the internet via another ID and no problems viewing my site,
only when I login with my own login ID. Windows has been uninstalled and
re-installed; IE5.0 has been uninstalled and re-installed; the internet
connection program has been uninstalled and reinstalled. (Even crashed the
computer, reformatted, and reinstalled stuff, but that was before I knew it
was a trojan and evidently it got in again.) I'd like to avoid crashing
again, if you all have any suggestions on where I might find any malicious
code that might be creating the problem. Seems like it might be similar to a Black Out program (or parental control program).

one thing i would try is copying the profile of one of ur other login id's and copy that into ur current profile since there may be settings there that are conflicting with ur site. this is purely a guess and laggy would be the person to ask for web related stuff

Have you tried cleaning out your Internet temporary folder? Wipe out all the cookies and files in that folder, then reconnect with your ID login. It might help. This is also another guess, and am not sure if this would even help with your problem, but worth a try if you haven’t already.
