Downloaded Program Hung up in Install--how to remove?

I downloaded a file checker and it's hung up somewhere on my system (W98)--will not completely install. How can I delete/uninstall it (doesn't show up on Add/Remove Programs). Thanks.

check and see if it made a folder and started copying files there. if it did just delete that folder. re-dload the progy and try again
