It's bad enough the poor dog had to cart his blind ass all over the place. But to get kicked to death? The dog should have led him in front of a big Ryder truck or something.

INDEED!

Blind or not I would have given that man a severe beating had I been near him at the time.
Posted by: AK47
aw christ.
people get all uppity when a guy kills a dog. yet when they see us dropping bombs on the middle east, they cheer. its just a dog. christ.
anyways- this was the guys dog. it was his. leave him alone.
killin dogs should be a sport. my neighbor's dog is first on the list.
Posted by: Null Actor
So it's okay to beat dogs to death huh? Well, what kind of pet do you/have you had?
Maybe I'll beat it to death.
Posted by: Null Actor
Oh and for the record, I do not cheer when US bombs kill people.
That is an american trait I don't have.

I can tell there are some in here who don't like animals.
It is quite readily apparent.
To kick a dog, an animal that trust you, is like kicking your kid, a small person who trust you to do the right thing. Some people get their jollies from it probably because they aren't man/women enough to pick on someone who can fight back.
To kick a seeing eye dog, an animal that devotes its whole life so that that moron can have a better quality life, at the expense of the dogs life, is abhorrent, just as people who beat their kids, or any animal for that matter.

Why do people enjoy inflicting voilence on animals? Goto the police station with an armed rifle if you're a real sportsmen. :P
Or just shoot something not alive. Like crappy Door CD's or Jackeloupes.

I always like the scene in Crocodile Dundee where he is behind a kangaroo and shoots at the poachers, making them think the kangaroo is shooting at them.
One good thing about spiders though is that they trap/ensnare and kill other insects.

But those other insects never bother me.

They would if the spiders didn't catch them first

You know.... people that beat animals or people weaker than themselves are a disgrace to humanity.
Then again "certain" countries thinking that they are the world police and everyone should live be thier rules (see Israel) p!sses me off too.

rofl! I'm gonna find you and beat your dog!
and they are the Doors, with an 's' jackass!
anyways, I never said beating a dog is a good thing (except my neighbor's- that would be a good idea). I simply dont like it how people get all enraged about pet killing but they have gotten used to seeing babies thrown into dumpsters on the news. thats all.

"The People who suck really bad thread"
I saw a story yesterday on headline news that said a 86 year old Italian woman was caught at an airport in florida(i think florida) comming from Italy with bags filled with 10000 pills of Extasy stashed in her luggage.
I cant find the story on CNN.com though, if I do, ill link it.

How about the Enron executives.
Or that **** whore who reached into a moving car (with kids in it), pulled out their puppy, and then threw it out onto the highway.
That story hurt so much.....

To be clear - I do not approve of beating children or animals. I am not picking on you in particular, Chako, I see a lot of people who carry this thought.
My children are NOT in the same catagory as animals. It is a very demented view that places animals with the same or greater rights as a human being. The punishment for animal abuse should never approach human abuse. You all watch Disney and think that it is a documentary on animal behavior. Bah.
I think that the most despicable person is the one who endangers human life in order to save the "fill in the blank". Trees and animals are of more importance to some of these psycho's than human life.
I may "get off the fence" later on and say what I really think.
Posted by: AltronHGX
Animals, trees, plants, you name it -- They have all the same right to live here that we do.
They were all here long before us and will be here long after we're gone.
Posted by: Chako
I have a deep respect for all life. If I take something from the bush (hunting) to feed myself and my family, I respect it for providing nutrition. If I have a trusted dog that provided companionship, then yes, it becomes part of my family. Do I treat this pet like my child. Hmmm....I somehow don't send my dog to school. Nor do I have particularity long conversations with it as I would a child. No, I respect it for what it can provide me...quiet companionship, unconditional love, and friendship. Does it replace a child...you be the judge.....
I do view however that people who beat or abuse animals are as cruel and disdainful of the simpler things in life such as decency. Its only a small step up to beating children (if a step it is). Fact is, too many parents do beat their children and should not have any, likewise, they should not have any pets either for if they don't respect themselves...how can they respect others, be it child or pet? You will note that some studies have shown that people who beat or abuse their pets tend to make lousy parents. Common sense to me if you ask.
So, you claim you know my thoughts from a few lines by stating that you see a lot of people who have such views. Likewise you start your post with a "I am not picking on you" statement, then turn around and claim that such views are demented.
Well, you make a clear distinction between pets and children, and yet, both demand responsibility. May be responsibility of a different sort, but if you distill it to the simplest basic denominator, it still is responsibility.
Nowhere did I state that pets come before children. Such notions are ridiculous and are only upheld by that 1% of the population that build shrines for the SPCA in their basement, don’t wear fur, and are strictly vegetarian because eating meat is barbaric.
I will not argue semantics with you. Frankly, you misjudged my viewpoints and labeled me some sort of tree hugger simply because I find people who beat up children AND/OR pets abhorrent. I must ask myself what is the most responsible stance on the issue. Once again, I shall let you decide.
Posted by: AltronHGX
Well look, since we're the same species its natural to value our own offspring more than something of another.
This may sound stupid but put yourselves in their shoes and- Well I don't know how to finish that without sounding foolish

Here's another person that sucks. And he's only three!

If that happened to me, I'd tan that kids ass right in front of the mom. Then tan her ass for being dumb.

Holy Crap, how in the blue hell did this happen? Why didnt they beat the crap out of that little punk?
You kick me in the shin, im kicking you back with some stank on it!
Posted by: Ion Silverbolt
The kids mother is probably one of those people who thinks you can raise kids without physical discipline.
Posted by: Shalome
Sheesh. I don't care how "strong" the little bugger was.. He's THREE! It's pretty easy to subdue a three-year-old, I don't care how bad a tantrum he was throwing. I mean, yeah, kids can wiggle around a lot, but how hard can it be for three grown women (the two victims and the mother) to immobilize the kid? And this went on for 30 minutes? What were they doing, just sitting there letting the kid hit, kick, and scratch the hell outta them?!?
Posted by: Muggs
Kick him in the ballz
Posted by: Ion Silverbolt
hehe, maybe he was almost 4.
There's a difference between physical discipline and beating children. I would rather spank a kids bottom then to allow him to keep trying to play with the light socket if he ignores my verbal plea to do so.
Anytime a person or parent hurts their kid and leaves a visible bruise deserves their parenthood title stripped.
Posted by: Muggs
thats why you hold a phone book up to him then beat the phone book with a bat
jk
Posted by: Erekose
Ill tell you something, when I was younger I was spanked/disciplined/beat/what-ever-you-wanna-call-it. It was a rare occasion when that happened but it was not something I soon forgot (my father is a very large man who works with his hands for a living). By the time I was 8 I learned not to do anything wrong, and my parents realised the lesson had been learned. Never was I struck with a closed fist, and maybe only a handful of times with anything other than an open hand nor anywhere but the fleshy tissue of my buttocks/upperthigh. I believe it is an appropriate punishment in some cases, and I do believe that this was one of them. I avoid physical violence whenever possible, but accept it is a natural human reaction (especially to such assault, even if it is a 3 yr old) and I'm certain I'd have been at the very least arrested if I had been attacked in such a way because I would have incapacitated the child for atleast the ammount of time it took for the police to arrive and I most definitely would have pressed charges. Some people just have no common sense, and some children need to be under serious psychological evaluation.
Posted by: redwench
heh, the second time the bugger whomped on me, he be across the room, hopefully bleeding. and i cant imagine why those women didnt call the police, the child obviously needs professional help, and wont get it until someone does call.
Posted by: AltronHGX
The mother and the child should both seek help.
The kid brutally beat those women for THIRTY MINUTES while what does the mother do? Sit on her ass and watch. Thats a bloody shame..
And if "he usually" attacks people with the toy truck why wasn't it taken from him? There is seriously something wrong with the mother if all she can say after that is "Yeah, he does that to people sometimes."
That kind of.. just plain moronic behavior pisses me off on a great level (I'm talking about the mother).

So they guy killed his dog? Stop being so self-righteous, charge him with cruelty to animals, slap him with a fine, and be done with it.

Parents are afraid to discipline their children nowadays.
And it's starting to show on society.

(back to lunatic 3 year olds)
This sounds weird enough to not be true. I am having a hard time picturing this incident in my mind. A 3 year old beats 2 adults for 30 minutes with a toy, and then gets away with it? LOL
I will note that the article didn’t give much information that would make it a valid news article.
Posted by: Xtren
I don't think beating anything is good. Obviously anything that is living can feel pain. It's not really that funny to watch either. I'd feel pretty guilty if I was with someone and he began to torture an animal/person and I didn't do anything about it.
Posted by: Swilo
Not everything can feel pain. Usually it's a mental problem that causes a lack of it though.
Posted by: Muggs
Maybe they were all hopped up on the crack and they wouldnt share with the kid so he got pissed off.
Posted by: redwench
i dont understand why this woman takes her kid out in public if she knows he gets violent with random strangers. one can only hope now she keeps him at home and gets him to a shrink. or that some sensible soul calls cps and gets him taken away from her. this is child neglect, since shes not preventing him from doing dangerous things. (and trust me, had he attacked me, it would have been very dangerous)

You are correct. I did not make a good choice when I quoted from your post. My post should have been without a quote. For this, I apologize to you. The rest stands.
Now , on to the three year old. I find this article questionable from the stance that I never met a three year old that I could not defend myself from. I do not mean by violence but by restraint. Have you ever tried to wrestle with a child? It is easy to hurt them when not trying to do so. Something is odd here.
Posted by: redwench
i do not wear fur. i would never wear real fur knowingly. i am not a wacko.
Posted by: rockjock
I think you have to own the shrine also.
I do not wear fur either! lol
Posted by: Chako
That is correct...you need the shrine
Likewise for those who are vegetarian. I know many vegetarians and they are normal....but then they don't have that all important shrine!
Posted by: Null Actor
There is a difference between vegetarians who do it for health, and vegetarians who do it for politics.
Posted by: Xtren
Yeah, some people are vegetarians cause they are just concerned about their weight and they think it will be good for them. Other people are vegetarians because they want to fit in to a certain group or have a certain image and so they can stand out. Those kinds of people aren't really vegetarian because they want to be, but because other people do.
Posted by: Spider
But by definition if they don't eat meat they are indeed vegetarians, reguardless of their reasoning behind it.
However don't get me started on Vegans. Those sons of *****es will bring about the end of the world.

either that mom was a fu8king retard or those 2 women are super weak.
Getting knocked around by a 3 year old? RIGHT.
Posted by: Xtren
Give me some time though. I still have a few things I would like to do in my life before the end of the world. Is your schedule flexible?
Posted by: Erekose
Well let me put it this way. If she says next month at 3 o'clock, you can be sure that the machinery is already in motion and the sky will start to fall in about 5 minutes or so. It's probably better not to know when, just get those things done.
Posted by: Xtren
Well this isn't really just one of those things cause it's never happenned before and it obviously can't happen again once it's over. I just wanted to know how much slack she can cut us.
Posted by: AltronHGX
That child won't live to be 30.
Posted by: Shalome
Umm.. Xtren? Erekose? Which of these things applies:
a) you're members of an insane suicidal cult headed by a woman
b) you're speaking in code and are plotting something
c) your private messages somehow got posted to a forum (in which case, maybe a or b apply anyway)
d) i seriously missed something here..
The weirdest thing about those three posts is that those are the most complete, grammatically correct, error-free sentences I've ever seen from EITHER of you (no offense intended).
My curiosity is piqued.

Next up on the people who suck list goes to the Saudi National Religious Police.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/wo...000/1874471.stm
Can I ask anyone of any religion something? Why the **** does it matter what a person wears? Or does god have a line of Armoni in his closet?
Posted by: Shalome
The Qu'ran says that members of both sexes should be dressed modestly, and that the head should be covered while praying.
The "obvious" interpretation of this is that the truly faithful are, in some way, communicating with Allah at all times, thus they should always have their heads covered -- hence, the turbans and headscarves. It shows humility before Allah.
The interpretation of "modestly dressed" is what, in some versions of Islam, leads to the head-to-toe covering of women, because <sarcasm> women are vile creatures who would tempt men to lustfulness just by their presence if they weren't covered </sarcasm> blah blah blah.
EDIT: The above is explanation, not exoneration. Those policemen should be shot for beating young girls back into a burning building because the girls weren't wearing the proper religously-mandated clothing.
Then again, in many cultures, women's lives are worth so little that they're killed for "disgracing" themselves or their family. I'll save the feminist rants for other forums, though.
Posted by: Muggs
why dont they realize that females are much more fun when they are scantly clad?

Some people are too brainwashed by their religion that they only know the rules and can no longer distinguish the good from the bad. I think September 11 reminded us of that. These people do what they are told to believe in.
Posted by: Erekose
i've been away from this forum for awhile, so i'll address a few points all in one (a point that i will use later). shalome, it's not that i am ignorant, or that i don't know proper english, i'm just lazy. as to what xtren and i were discussing, red was planning to end the world. am i in a cult headed by a woman, not that i know of (red correct me if i'm wrong ) but if it makes you feel better i'll not use proper grammar anymore, better you think me stupid than to let on about my plans for world domina,,, anyways moving on. the saudi religious police. ima need some rifles, some explosives, and an orangataun (sp?). okay so i don't need an orangataun, but i've always wanted to say 'right turn, clyde.'
Posted by: Xtren
Btw, I'm not involved in any cult governed by woman, it's just that it's easier for other people to get your point if you don't make a lot of spelling mistakes, and if you use periods and capital letters.
