best cooling case off the shelf antec mid tower they come with i think two case fans and a decent 300 watt PS. enermax makes decent PS if u want a higher rated one i would definately get a 400watt PS if i was building a AMD. i would also invest in a chipset cooler. antec fans are quiet. Vin has three in her case one i had on hand and two the case came with and i cant hear the thing going at all. the CDROM is louder than her fans. also if u have a computer desk do not put the puter in the cubbey hole that a lot of desks have to hide the case, those are computer coffins.

as for monitor there is little diff in .25 over .26 and definately not worth the 110$. but monitors right now, viewsonic are my preference they have the best colour quality and picture. i have a perfect flat screen at home. the PF790 from viewsonic, it is basically the same style as a LCD display without the LCD cost. monitors i would be concerned about resolution and refresh rates which is why i choose viewsonics right now. they offer the best refresh rates, display size, colour quality, and resolution for their cost.

You don't need any more than a 300w power supply, unless you are going to be running an insane amount of peripherals (4 hard drives, 2 burners, every pci slot filled).
