Buy anyway, I have a Logiteck Wingman Force, and a gamepad. My problem is like so, for the last 3 years now, I could only have one of these installed at a time, and it always puzzled me why, because the gamepad hoooks up to my SBLive!'s gameport, and teh wingman force can hook up to USB or Serial, I have it hooked to com port 1.
Anyhow, whenever I have one installed, the other would'nt be detected until I disabled the other, so only one can work at a time. Anyone know how to fix this?
Windows 98 SE
AMD Athlon XP 1700+
ABIT KG7
512mb PC2100 RAM
Soundblaster Live! X-Gamer 5.1
Wingman Force hooked to com port 1
PiranhaPad PC hooked to the SBLive!'s Joystick port.

Might be for the same reason you can only have one mouse connected at one time. The computer can't distinguish what input is coming from where and gets confused. Just a guess, but I believe you can't have a mouse on the PS/2 port and the serial/USB port at the same time. Only one will be detected during boot up.

You guessed wrong, I actually tried that a while ago and it worked. It was pretty funny to move two mouses at the same time and watch the cursor move

I actually had THREE mice on my home computer once. We had the nromal PS2 one, then my dad got a trackball, then I got my optical. My dad would go in the lving room (trackball was wireless) and me and my mom would fight over what websites were viewed while my dad just messed it all up randomly.

Too bad this thread is about joysticks, not mice.
