C&C Renegade

I just bought this title on Friday, and already I hate a feature of this particular title.

Westwood did something that really really pisses me off big time. So much so that I am starting to hate playing this wonderful game.

Here is the problem. First you have to install it on the HD. This part is good, however, each and every time you want to play the darn title, you must first open CD ROM, install Disk 1, close CD ROM, wait a minute for the "install disk 2" screen. Open CD ROM take out disk 1, place disk 2 in CD ROM, close CD ROM and wait a minute to get to the game. ARGH!!!

The darn title asks you to place both disk each time you want to play the bloody title! If you leave disk 2 in the drive to play it again..NO No no! Got to take it out and place disk 1 in (insert expletive of choice here).

Game designers, if you are reading this...learn from it! Gamers do not want to fiddle with stupid CD ROMS as if they are floppies. This is why we have nice fat HDs. Shame on you Westwood!

I would hate to have to do that. I havent bought the game yet but I plan too. I really like the demo.

It would be a good idea for them to put a stop to that in a patch.

BTW: How is the single player?

I am enjoying it tremendously.

Go find a No-CD crack.

Chaco, insert cd2, do not let it autorun or close the autorun screen, then start the game using the start menu icon.
I think it's a bug or something (one of many), either that or I hope westwood never releases a game with more than 1 cd again...
