I remember seeing an faq somewhere about this problem, could anyone be so kind as to redirect me to it, or better yet, tell me what i have to do ?

The only thing blizzard says about Speakers loosing sound channels or low output sound is to get the latest drivers for DirectX and your sound card. They give this link: Click Here

DirectX 8.1 is recommended for the game and Blizzard wouldn't have given you a beta if you didn't have it anyway. They chacked for that when you applied for a beta.
