Weird Reboot Problem

Heres one for you.
In one of my systems, I'm running a Tyan slot and socket mobo. (it has both a PIII slot and socket on board) Currently it is running a Slot PIII 850.
Now heres the weird thing. Ever since I've had this board (couple years now) it I reboot the PC the keyboard and mouse will lockup immediately after Windows loads up. Doesn't matter if they are PS/2 or USB. Or the version of Windows, it does it in both XP and 2000. But if you shutdown the pc and turn it off then back on, it works fine. I really don't care as I don't personally use this box, its just an extra. It doesn't get re-booted that often either.
Just thought I would through it out there and see if anyone had any ideas. I really don't pull my hair out on it, because it just sits there running most of the time. Usually is my LAN game server. I've updated the BIOS and tried a few other things to no avail.

Hmmm.. that's a weird one. Some things that I can think to check are, whether the lights on the keyboard are on, and whether the keyboard works on a soft boot into dos. This will somewhat isolate if the problem is in windows or if the problem is in hardware, otherwise try seeing if the problems happens with just the keyboard plugged in for a soft boot, see what works.
