List of casualties in Vietnam (Canadian)

I was bored...very bored tonight. So I decided to see what would pop up if I typed my full name in the search engine. Well I found this site.

http://spidersweb.stormpages.com/cdncasulties.htm

This did give me chills for a few seconds seeing my name on the list of casualties. After the chills, came the anger that my Country gave Canadian Vietnam vets a hard time. Truly a black eye for this Country. I bet most Canadians don’t even realize that 40,000 Canadians joined up for that conflict. Almost a forgotten war here, with forgotten Vets…a disgrace if you ask me.

you think its bad there... look here.

I was reading an article one day about a guy who was a retired marine in california. He was part of the first few waves to hit Iwo Jima. Murdered. Now that is sad... a person who has to lived through a horror like Iwo Jima should have a dignified death. Not die by some punk who robbed him.

You know whats even sadder? The Desert storm vets here are already forgotten.. out in Calif I have seen a few of desert storm vets with signs on the streets. Porr guys. Only 10 years ago.....
