Monitor Contrast and Brightness

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

The other day I was fiddling with my monitor's contrast and brightness. On my P3 system, the monitor has a "Fine Picture Mode" button that makes the picture just come alive with such rich colors. My P4 Monitor does not have this mode, but I tried to emulate it, and I think I figured it out.

I set my Brightness to 10 and my Contrast to 85. Wow. Colors are brighter, looks just like Fine Picture Mode on my other monitor.

Will a few people try this to see if it works for them too? It makes your screen look excellent.

I have a Iiyama S700JT1 and those settings make everything too dark, this site becomes totally unreadable.

I got my contrast set to 85 and brightness set to 65.

Tried it Sky, setting brightness to 10 was too dark for me. Contrast at 85 is ok, I have brightness set at 35.

Way to dark.

I keep my brightness at 91 and contrast at 86.
