Yahoo! Messenger PC-to-Phone

Has anyone successfully installed Yahoo's
PC-to-Phone program and actually used it?.
I successfully installed it to the point that I can
dial a number and know that it connects to the
number I am calling, BUT--neither I nor the party
I'm calling can hear any voice.
I exhausted the help offered by Yahoo. I ran the
Audio Wizard and passed all the tests (microphone,
recording, intenet connection, etc. etc.), but still can't
hear anything when I am connected to the number
I'm calling.
Can anyone suggest what might be the problem?
AOpen Modem
SB PCI 16 Sound Card
Windows 98 SE
IE 5.0
Yahoo! Messenger (latest one, with the CALL icon
that brings up the Yahoo Call Center for dialing

Sorry 'bout that! Didn't know if my problem is with the
software or my hardware, or what? I see where the
thread has been moved to Software, so I'm on my way there now.
