Annoying underlined word advertisements

Ok...someone in my family must have downloaded somee dumb web enhancement. Now certain words are underlined and link to a page selling that word. for example, "vcr" is underlined (the line is thick orange btw) and it links to a site that sells vcrs. or a big complicated word links to a dictionary page etc. Anyone know what program does this? I want to get rid of it, but dont know who downloaded what program that may have done this.

Sounds like Gator or some other crap scumware. Get AD-Aware to scan your system:
